After sending reliever Drey Jameson to the 60-day IL due to right elbow inflammation, the Arizona Diamondbacks have elected to promote Tyler Gilbert from Triple-A Reno.
The #Dbacks selected LHP Tyler Gilbert from Triple-A Reno, optioned OF Kyle Lewis to Reno following yesterday's game, and transferred RHP Drey Jameson to the 60-day IL (right elbow inflammation).

This will be Tyler Gilbert’s first rodeo with the Diamondbacks this season, as he has spent all year with the Reno Aces.
