Jake Lamb has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left quadriceps strain. Still no word on the severity of his injury. Ildemaro Vargas is back with the team.

Lamb had injured his left quad when running out an RBI double. Utility infielder Ildemaro Vargas is expected to be recalled from Reno to take Lamb’s spot on the 25-man roster. Vargas did not play in last night’s game for Reno, as expected, and despite being optioned to AAA to make room for Jon Duplantier on April 1st he is eligible to be recalled due to injury.
