But, on the bright side, according to MLB Network Radio’s Jim Bowden, the market for Montgomery is finally getting hot, with multiple teams willing to sign the veteran to a long-term contract.
While Bowden did not specify the exact number of teams showing interest, he identified the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox among the leading contenders vying for Montgomery’s signature.
