The Diamondbacks Minor League Affiliates combined for a 4-3 record
(AAA) Reno Aces 14, Tacoma Rainiers 3: Jon Duplantier allowed 1 run in 3 1⁄3 innings on 3 hits, a walk, and 3 strikeouts in 55 pitches. The Aces hitters decided to play a bit of HR derby starting with a 3-run bomb from Juniel Querecuto that gave the Aces the lead in the second. A 5-run 4th inning, highlighted by RBI doubles from John Ryan Murphy and Ben DeLuzio as well as a 2-run shot from Blake Swihart. Domingo Leyba and Andy Young added solo homers in the game as well.
