MILWAUKEE – While some are calling for Torey Lovullo to do something to shake things up, he believes there are benefits to remaining as even-keeled as possible. As for changes to his slumping lineup, well, he said, “stay tuned on that.”
Lovullo was hinting at some drastic measures with his lineup, but nothing in a heavy-handed manner.
“We may pick the lineup out of a hat or something crazy,” he said. “We might have some fun. I might turn some things around lineup-wise. We try to keep it loose here, at the right times.”
Another idea he floated: turning pregame batting practice into a home run derby.
