Diamondbacks looking for ‘quality’ at-bats as hitting slump continues

The Diamondbacks offense was productive in ways in April that have come to a halt in May. Speaking to reporters this week, General Manager Mike Hazen sounded willing to attribute some of it to injuries but believes there are areas in which even his banged-up offense can improve.

We need to get back to doing that. I think we were second in baseball in baserunners coming out of April.
