Two-run HRs give Padres lead
The Padres got a pair of two-run home runs, one from rookie Rocky Gale, the other by Hunter Renfroe, and they lead Robbie Ray and the Diamondbacks 4-2 on Wednesday night at Petco Park.
Gale’s home run was the first of his big league career. He pulled a full-count pitch from Ray down the left field line in the second inning.
