Diamondbacks draft Phoenix native Wyatt Crenshaw with 565th overall pick

With the 565th pick of the MLB Draft, the Arizona Diamondbacks selected Phoenix native Wyatt Crenshaw from Arizona State University.

Wyatt Crenshaw attended Perry High School, where he graduated in the 2018 class. From there, Crenshaw attended Colorado Christian University for three seasons.

During his junior year at CCU, the 23-year-old finished with an impressive .422 batting average, matched with 16 home runs and 70 RBIs. His batting average broke a school record dating back to 2009.
