After turning in another strong outing, this time in a minor-league game on Wednesday afternoon, Diamondbacks right-hander Archie Bradley said he’d welcome the chance to start the season in the bullpen if there’s no room for him in the rotation.
“With the way I’m throwing the baseball right now, the way I feel, the way the ball is coming out, I’m comfortable in any role, in any capacity,” Bradley said. “Just put me on this team.”
Bradley gave up just one hit in five innings against San Francisco Giants minor leaguers. He did not walk a batter for the third consecutive outing.
