Diamondbacks right-hander Archie Bradley wasn’t happy about what happened during his outing on Tuesday, but he was trying hard on Wednesday morning to keep the big picture in mind and to focus on the positives.
“Numbers-wise, it wasn’t great,” said Bradley, who gave up six runs in 1 1/3 innings against the Oakland Athletics. “I was still able to work on and execute some of the things I wanted to work on.”
Bradley is trying to walk a sort of tightrope this spring. He’s fighting for a spot in the Diamondbacks’ rotation. At the same time, he’s trying to refine his pitches – and even add a new one – to his repertoire.
