After releasing Jose Herrera over the weekend, the Arizona Diamondbacks have officially added Tucker Barnhart to their 40-man roster.

In order to accommodate this addition, Arizona designated 29-year-old RHP Peter Strzelecki for assignment.
Barnhart will serve as the backup to Gabriel Moreno; he originally signed a minor league deal with the D-backs back in January.
