The Arizona State Sun Devils have added another transfer. On a team full of transfers from all over the country, they added Jose Perez, a guard last at West Virginia but sat out last year. The Sun Devils will be Perez's fifth team since he entered college in 2018.

Perez started his career at Gardner-Webb, where he played his first two seasons. In those two seasons, he started 47 of 57 possible games and averaged 15 points, 3.5 assists, and six rebounds. He was runner-up for freshman of the year and was named to the all-freshman team while also being named first-team all-conference.
