The intended start time of 6:05 pm at Surprise Stadium tonight ended up getting pushed back by an hour due to police action. Okay, who else’s first thought was, “The Brute Squad have some explaining to do...” But it turns out they were entirely innocent. An explosives dog doing a pregame sweep alerted at a display auto out in front of the park, provided by a car showroom, and the local bomb squad were called in as a precaution. Nothing was found, and the game was finally able to get under way.
