A very nice game both offensively and defensively for the Diamondbacks tonight. The offense put a beat down on the Padres pitching tonight, putting up crooked numbers in both the fourth and fifth innings. The two big at bats this evening came from Chris Owings and Yasmany Tomas. Owings bunted with the bases loaded and two runs scored after pitcher Chris Stammen threw the ball away. Tomas’s big hit came in the form of an actual big hit, a three run home run in the fifth, to help put the game far out of reach.
