Diamondbacks 10/6, Padres 5/Angels 6

Record: 4-9-2. Change on 2019: -2.

Let’s begin at Salt River Fields, where the D-backs used a pair of four-run innings to get past the Padres by a score of 10-6. They got away fast, scoring four times before an out was even recorded, with Jake Lamb’s bases-clearing double the big play. They repeated that production in the fifth, leading off with a Lamb homer, followed subsequently by RBI hits from Trayce Thompson, Ben DeLuzio and Wyatt Mathisen. Lamb went 3-for-3 with a walk and four RBI, while there were two hits apiece for Mathisen, Ketel Marte and Eduardo Escobar.
