Today was a good day to be a fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks as they improved to 7-1 on this most recent road swing, including taking two of three from the Colorado Rockies, the other team in the NL West that just refuses to go away. After Colorado and Arizona split the first two games, the stakes were raised for today’s matinee.
Colorado sent impressive rookie, Antonio Senzatela to the mound. He made quick work of the Diamondbacks in the first inning. The Diamondbacks responded by sending Zack Godley to the mound. It didn’t take long for Colorado to show that they had come to play on both sides of the ball.
