Diamondbacks 1, Braves 5

A four-run third inning off Patrick Corbin was all the offense the Braves would need, as the Diamondbacks were not able to complete the sweep in Atlanta this afternoon. The Braves sent eight to the plate in the inning, Corbin allowing five hits, but a Jake Lamb error certainly didn’t help. Corbin was charged with four runs over six innings, on six hits and a walk with three K’s. Randall Delgado allowed a run in the seventh, then Jorge De La Rosa and Silvino Bracho worked the eighth.

Arizona’s hitters struggled to get anything going against Julio Teheran, and weren’t able to do anything for their few opportunities with runners in scoring position.
