The Diamondbacks returned home to Chase Field and were greeted by the Pittsburgh Pirates for a series that could prove to shape the outcome of the NL Wild Card race when all things are said and done. Before the series could even get underway, Dbacks GM Mike Hazen got to work on improving the roster with the acquisition of lefty reliever A.J. Puk from the Miami Marlins, in exchange for 2 prospects in Deyvison De Los Santos and Andrew Pintar. Brandon, Gabe and Brett discussed what we could expect to see out of Puk and how his season numbers are a bit deceiving when telling the tale of his 2024 campaign, and how each of us felt with the package required to land the big lefty.
