Dbacks MiLB Round-Up 5/18: Keller Tosses a Gem

Brad Keller just keeps doing his thing. He put up 7 2/3 shutout innings on 4 hits last night in Visalia's 1-0 win with 6 strikeouts and an 8/4 groundout to flyout ratio. It's hard not to get a little excited that Keller will develop into that classic innings-eating middle-of-the-rotation starter as early as 2018 or 2019. He's only 20 putting up solid numbers in the brutal California League by inducing lots of groundball outs, validated by his current 2.88 groundout to flyout ratio. It's easy to think of Brandon Webb when you look at him with a very similar build and that reliable sinker.
