Dbacks 6, Padres 0

The story of the night was Robbie Ray. I’m hesitant to declare him back or fixed, but he made a strong case for it tonight. He sat down the first 12 batters he faced in order, including seven strike outs during the time. He added another three strike outs before he was taken out with one out in the sixth inning, only giving up two hits and two walks, a key mark of success for Ray.

The offense was quiet for most of the evening, and for a while it looked like it was going to be another two run special from the Diamondbacks, at least until the seventh inning.
