SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- D-backs right fielder Steven Souza Jr. left Wednesday's game vs. the Giants in the top of the fourth inning with an apparent injury after a diving attempt at a Brandon Belt double to right-center field.
Souza appeared to land poorly on his arm and shoulder and walked off the field holding his right arm. Two runs scored on the play, giving the Giants a 7-0 lead.
After Souza's departure, shortstop Chris Owings moved to left field and Kristopher Negron came into the game at short.
