The Arizona Diamondbacks backs have finally promoted top prospect SS/3B Jordan Lawlar to the MLB. In a corresponding move, the team designated SS Nick Ahmed for assignment.

Lawlar was selected by the D-backs with the sixth overall pick in the 2021 draft out of high school.
