Curt Schilling slams writers after missing out on Hall of Fame: 'Morally bankrupt frauds'

Curt Schilling reacted to narrowly missing out on the Baseball Hall of Fame for a second consecutive season with a lengthy Facebook post which included some scathing comments toward the media

The former MLB star ended up 16 votes shy of the required amount to get into the Hall of Fame after coming up 20 votes short last year. It is his second-to-last season on the ballot for voting done by the Baseball Writers Association of America.

Schilling linked to the Facebook post with a couple of tweets, which said: "Wanted to share the letter I wrote to the amazingly kind folks at the HOF yesterday" and "Former players will be the ultimate judge, as it should be.
