The Arizona Diamondbacks traded pitcher Robbie Ray to the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday.
Arizona received LHP Travis Bergen in the deal, while sending cash considerations ($300,000) to Toronto.
The MLB trade deadline is at 1 p.m. on Monday and speculation has surrounded several other Diamondbacks players, including relief pitcher Archie Bradley and outfielder Starling Marte and David Peralta.
Ray went 1-4 for the Diamondbacks this season in seven starts. He had a 7.84 ERA with 43 strike outs and 31 walks in 31 innings pitched.
He is scheduled to become a free agent after this season.
