A name I note is not in the line-up is Yasmany Tomas. I should say, “not in the line-up again,” as his last Cactus League appearance was now five days ago, on March 6 against the Royals. He did start against Team Mexico, but even there, went ohfer, and so is still looking for his first hit on the spring campaign. His absence of late is thus... a bit curious, I’d say. Maybe there’s a technical issue, which is best worked on out of sight, in the Salt River Fields’ batting cages? I’m just speculating here.
