The latest on injured Arizona Diamondbacks is mostly good news thanks to the team’s first class trainning staff.
Arizona Diamondbacks reliever David Hernandez was hit by a line drive off the bat of Andres Blanco in the left ankle in Wednesday’s game against the Phillies. He threw a few warmup pitches attempting to stay in the game, but the Dbacks decided to take him out as a precaution. He allowed 2 hits in 1/3 innings.
The Diamondbacks official twitter account later reported that Hernandez suffered an ankle contusion.
