Arizona Diamondbacks 6, San Francisco Giants 5

This didn’t look like it was going to be even close early on, because Madison Bumgarner was perfect through the first five innings. Zack Greinke, on the other hand, was not, and left after five innings, having allowed two runs on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts. One of those was to his opposing number, who homered off Greinke for the Giants’ second run. But when Bumgarner’s perfecto ended, it ended quickly: Jeff Mathis triple, Nick Ahmed RBI single and A.J. Pollock two-run homer, making the score 3-3 after six.
