On the mound: LHP Robbie Ray got his final tune-up on Saturday before his scheduled start on Friday at Dodger Stadium in the Diamondbacks’ second regular-season game. Ray struck out 11 Giants hitters over 5 2/3 innings on Saturday, allowing two runs on five hits in the process. Ray faced 22 batters and surrendered two walks. It appears his ERA will finish at 3.86 for the spring. … Manager Torey Lovullo said before Saturday’s game that he wanted to get one more look at RHP Archie Bradley before making a final decision on naming the Diamondbacks’ closer.
