Randy Johnson is enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame, but we’re not done celebrating the Big Unit. In honor of his number 51 being retired Saturday by the Arizona Diamondbacks, here are 51 reasons why Johnson is singularly awesome:

Seriously, an accounting of Randy Johnson by the numbers should start with the biggest one of all — at 6 feet, 10 inches he was the tallest player to reach the major leagues when he debuted in 1988 (2). Thus, he’s the tallest player enshrined in Cooperstown (3).
