Over the past weekend, the Arizona State Sun Devils wrapped up their road trip with a visit to Colgate University in New York.
This weekend saw a similar result to the weekend before. One Loss. One tie. Definitely not the way you want to open up a season.
Game one saw the Devils getting handed their first shutout loss of the year. Starting in the first and continuing through the second and third, was a tightly checked game of defense. The only difference, Colgate was able to capitalize on their opportunities, ASU was not.
With just under 4 minutes left on the board in the first period, Colgate capitalized on a Sun Devil turnover, Tyler Jeanson with the marker.
