It was the type of goal the Coyotes had been searching for all regular season.
Coyotes forward Michael Grabner anticipated the cross-ice pass, intercepted it, and found himself all alone with a shorthanded breakaway on Predators goaltender Juuse Saros.
Grabner rushed in on the forehand, went to the backhand, and put one over Saros to give the Coyotes a commanding 4-1 lead in the second period. In a game the Coyotes would eventually win by a 4-3 score, Grabner's goal was significant for a number of reasons, the biggest being a backbreaker in a crucial Game 1 victory on Sunday in the best-of-five playoff series.
