TUCSON – The Tucson Roadrunners, American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today that the team has signed defenseman Brandon Burlon to an American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season.
Burlon comes to the Roadrunners after spending five years with the New Jersey Devils organization where he was selected in the second round, 52nd overall, of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. For the 2014-15 AHL season, the Nobleton, Ontario native led the Albany Devils in scoring among defensemen with 36 points, also placing him fourth in overall team scoring and tied for 15th in the league among defensemen.
