Coyotes winger Phil Kessel scored a pair of power-play goals in a 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators on Thursday at Gila River Arena.
The Coyotes also extended their point streak to four games and are now 3-2-1 on the season after starting the season with just one point in their first three games; they earned seven of a possible eight points in their past four games, culminating in Thursday's victory.
Kessel scored his first goal as a member of the Coyotes at 10:34 of the first period, giving Arizona a 2-0 lead with a power-play tally.
