Dylan Guenther had a two-point night and Nick Schmaltz scored the game-winning goal as the Arizona Coyotes (20-17-2) defeated the Boston Bruins (24-8-8) 4-3 in overtime Tuesday night, snapping a three-game losing streak.
Boston came into Tempe off of a back-to-back as they lost 4-3 to the Colorado Avalanche on Monday and are 1-1-2 in their last four games.
David Pastru0148ák sniped over Ingram’s right shoulder on the power play, giving Boston a 1-0 lead 4:41 in. Geekie had two assists on the night.
Despite being down in the first period, the Coyotes were assertive and controlled the flow of play, outshooting Boston 13-5.
