The Coyotes (2-1) will take the ice at Gila River Arena for the second and final time this preseason when the team plays host to the Anaheim Ducks (0-2) at 6 p.m. on Saturday in Glendale.
Defenseman Jordan Oesterle, acquired in the offseason in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks, will be in the lineup for the Coyotes. Oesterle leads the team in preseason scoring with four points (one goal, three assists) in just two games.
Although Vinnie Hinostroza was generally perceived to be the centerpiece of the deal, Oesterle has certainly impressed this preseason in his quest to earn a spot on the Opening Night roster.
