If goaltender Adin Hill winds up being sent to Tucson in the next several days, at least he’ll have some hardware to talk with him.
Hill, who was named the NHL’s second star of the week on Monday for the period ending Dec. 2, entered in relief of No. 1 goaltender Antti Raanta on Tuesday and started the Coyotes next two games to compile a 3-0-0 record to go with a 0.43 goals allowed average and a .983 save percentage over that span.
“It’s exciting,” said Hill, who is the first Coyotes rookie to win the award.
