It took some extra hockey, but the Arizona Coyotes win streak is alive and well after a 3-2 overtime win against the New York Rangers. While the Yotes didn’t score as much as they have in the past games, a 3-2 overtime win gave them two much-needed points.
While the Coyotes only managed three goals, it’s hard to argue that the Coyotes didn’t control the play in the game. In what is becoming a very good trend, they outshot the Rangers 21-4 in the first twenty minutes. Lawson Crouse would score the Coyotes lone goal of that period, but it’s hard to argue that they gave the Rangers a lot of room to breath.
