Goaltender Darcy Kuemper is expected to make his Coyotes debut on Sunday against the Vancouver Canucks.
Acquired in Wednesday’s trade that sent winger Tobias Rieder and goalie Scott Wedgewood to the Los Angeles Kings, Kuemper is slated to make his first Coyotes start on the second end of a home back-to-back for Arizona.
In 19 games with the Kings this season, Kuemper is 10-1-3 with a 2.10 goals allowed average and a .932 save percentage. The Coyotes signed Kuemper to a two-year contract extension shortly after acquiring him via trade.
