Ekman-Larsson ready to get back to work

After returning to the Valley earlier this week from the World Cup of Hockey in Toronto, Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson was given some down time before reporting to training camp.

But he would have been fine with getting back on the ice immediately.

“I got bored the last two days just sitting at home,” he said.

The 25-year-old was busy at the World Cup, skating in almost 125 minutes of game action, and enjoyed the experience despite Sweden getting bounced in the semifinals by Team Europe.

“I got to play with different players than I usually do,” Ekman-Larsson said.
