ST. LOUIS – The first step in announcing major changes for the Arizona Coyotes is taking place Monday. They are naming 26-year-old John Chayka as the replacement for veteran Don Maloney as the team’s general manager. It’s an aggressive move that clearly shows this organization is thinking differently than any other in the league right now.
Details of how they are going to structure their front office will be revealed and then the next step is for Chayka to truly dig in to the tall task of returning the Coyotes to relevance in the league and continuing the strides of making inroads in that market.
