Coyotes lose 12th straight game, fall 4-3 in OT to Jets

Kyle Connor scored twice and Connor Hellebuyck made 29 saves as the Winnipeg Jets beat the Arizona Coyotes 4-3 in overtime on Sunday night.

Connor, Mark Scheifele and Gabe Vilardi all scored for the Jets (36-15-5) who extended their winning streak to three games in a row. Scheifele recorded a four-point game with his goal and three assists.

Nick Schmaltz had two goals and Matias Maccelli netted the other for the Coyotes (23-29-5). Connor Ingram stopped 28 shots in Arizona’s 12th straight defeat.

With the puck ricochetting off of the boards, it bounced right in front for Scheifele to corral it and go backhand for a 1-0 Jets lead.
