The Arizona Coyotes are back in action tonight and have a simple target to accomplish: score. In their last two games, against the Vegas Golden Knights and Anaheim Ducks respectively, the Coyotes were shut out and fell to narrow 1-0 losses.
The two losses, however, were not entirely similar, with Rick Tocchet’s side managing just 16 shots against Vegas whereas it was a stout performance from Ducks goaltender John Gibson that kept out all 31 of their efforts at Gila River Arena.
The heat is starting to rise on the coach’s seat, with results needed to turn around the team’s slow start to the season.
