New Arizona Coyotes Shayne Gostisbehere and Liam O'Brien scored their first goals of the preseason, and Christian Fischer added a goal in the Coyotes' 6-3 loss to the Dallas Stars Sunday night in the NHL's Hockeyville exhibition game in El Paso, Texas.
It was Arizona's first preseason loss, sending the Coyotes to 3-1.
Playing in what used to be a facility used for rodeos, cattle auctions and equestrian events before it became the home of the city's junior-level team, the Coyotes and Stars provided plenty of offense. Arizona's power play converted twice, with goals from Gostisbehere in the first period and Fischer in the second on the man advantage.
