Coyotes center Laurent Dauphin ready for second chance in Arizona

Most players only have to endure the challenge of breaking in with one NHL team, but Coyotes center Laurent Dauphin is doing it for the second time — with the same team.

Recalled on Saturday from the Coyotes’ AHL affiliate in Tucson, the 22-year-old Dauphin – who was originally drafted 39th overall by Arizona in 2013 – was reacquired by the Coyotes on Jan. 10 in the Anthony Duclair trade that also brought winger Richard Panik to the Valley.

But Dauphin has already appeared in 32 games over two different seasons with the Coyotes over parts of two seasons from 2016-17.
