The Coyotes added to the coaching staff for their American Hockey League affiliate Tuesday, naming Mike Bavis and Doug Janik assistant coaches.
Ron Rolston was appointed head coach of the Springfield Falcons June 18.
Bavis joins Springfield after spending 15 seasons on Boston University's men's hockey coaching staff. He was an associate coach for four of those seasons.

A native of Roslindale, Mass., Bavis was a four-year letterman at Boston University from 1989-93 and was voted as New England's top defensive forward by the New England Writers Association in 1992 and 1993.
