In the second of three games during the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend, Arizona Coyotes right wing Clayton Keller recorded an assist for Team Matthews in their 6-5 shoutout against Team Hughes.
On Team Matthews, Keller had a few opportunities to set up his linemates Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews from the Toronto Maple Leafs before connecting for one point.
Keller kept the puck at the blue line and tapped it to Marner. From there, Marner walked in on Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko and beat the netminder glove side, giving Matthews’ squad a 1-0 lead 2:17 into the second 10-minute half.
