Boedker, Coyotes rally past Wild in overtime

Neither the Coyotes nor the Wild had their No. 1 goaltenders on the ice, but the battle of the backups didn’t harm either team’s chances.

Actually, Anders Lindback kept the Coyotes afloat until they found a solution for the Wild’s Darcy Kuemper and when they did, Arizona rallied for a 2-1 overtime win Friday in front of 14,104 at Gila River Arena to shred its five-game losing streak with the team’s fifth straight victory on home ice at the outset of a six-game homestand.

The win also snapped a five-game win streak in Arizona for the Wild, who pocketed a 4-3 victory in Glendale in October.
