Arizona State captain Josh Doan has been tied to the Arizona Coyotes franchise since birth and finally made the next step in signing his first contract with the club.
Josh, the son of former Coyotes captain Shane Doan, chose to forgo his junior season after signing a three-year entry-level contract with the Coyotes on Thursday that will have him report to the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL).
“I’ve been repping this logo since I was zero so it feels pretty normal at this point. It’s super exciting to be officially a part of it,” Doan said. “As much as the draft is joining the team, this takes it to the next level where you’re actually a part of the team and you get to use the resources to help you grow.
