The Coyotes are bringing back free-agent center Brad Richardson on a two-year deal that will pay him an annual average value of 1.25 million, according to multiple NHL sources.
Richardson, 33, officially became an unrestricted free agent on July 1 after spending the last three seasons with the Coyotes.
The veteran center totaled 15 points (three goals, 12 assists) and averaged 14:46 of ice time over 76 games as the club's fourth-line center last season.
Just this offseason, the Coyotes have already added two centers in Alex Galchenyuk and Marcus Kruger in trades with the Montreal Canadiens and Carolina Hurricanes, respectively.
