The Coyotes addressed some major holes in their lineup with recent trades that brought in a No. 1 center, top-pair defenseman and starting goalie, but one glaring vacancy remains behind the bench – a void that was felt Monday afternoon at the start of the team’s annual prospect development camp at AZ Ice Peoria.
“It’s different,” winger Christian Fischer said.
Day 1 of the head coaching search began as camp opened with the team outlining the attributes it wants to target after Dave Tippett and the Coyotes mutually agreed to part ways last Thursday.
